Contribution à l‘étude des Trichoptères néotropicaux II (Trichoptera).

Abstract

Die vorliegende Arbeit ist ein Beitrag zur Erforschung der südamerikanischen Trichopteren. Sechzehn Arten und fünf Gattungen, aus Chili werden neu beschrieben; andere chilenische Formen werden weiter behandelt. Anomalocosmoecus n. gen. blancasi n. sp. ist eine interessante Art, die wahrscheinlich durch eine weitgehende Anpassung an das Leben am Ufer des Titicaca-Sees zurückgebildet wurde. Die beiden Familien Rhyacophilidae und Limnophilidae sind wahrscheinlich von angarischem Ursprung. Sie sind fast überall um den Stillen Ozean zu finden. Ihre chilenischen Angehörigen sind noch primitiv und ein dankbares Objekt für zoogeographische und stammesgeschichtliche Untersuchungen. Die neotropischen Sericostomatidae, deren Abstammung noch unbestimmt ist, sind ebenfalls von hohem Alter und haben einige archaische Bildungen, die bei den nordischen Mitgliedern der Familie verlorengingen, beibehalten.

Résumé

Le présent travail est une contribution à l'étude des Trichoptères sud-américains. Seize espèces nouvelles et cinq genres inédits sont décrits du Chili ; un complément de description est donné sur d'autres formes de ce pays. Anomalocosmoecus n. gen. blancasi n. sp. est une espèce très intéressante, probablement dégradée par une adaptation très poussée à la vie au bord du lac Titicaca. Les Rhyacophilides et Limnophilides sont deux familles de Trichoptères d'origine vraisemblablement angarienne; elles sont réparties sur presque tout le pourtour de l'océan Pacifique. Leurs représentants au Chili sont encore primitifs et leur étude est très intéressante aux points de vue zoogéographique et phylétique. Les Séricostomatidae néotropicaux, dont l'origine est encore incertaine, sont également très anciens; ils ont conservés certaines structures archaïques, abandonnées par les représentants de la même famille vivant dans l'hémisphère septentrional.
