The present catalogue contains the types of the families Rhipiceridae (8 types), Cebrionidae (8 types), Elateridae (895 types), Eucnemidae (9 types), Throscidae (3 types), Chelonariidae (9 types), Buprestidae (242 types), Phylloceridae (3 types), Dicronychidae (9 types), Dascillidae (1 type), Helodidae (10 types), Dryopidae (26 types), Georyssidae (2 types), Heteroceridae (7 types), Dermestidae (16 types) and Byrrhidae (8 types) preserved in the collections of the Department of Taxonomy of Insects in the Eberswalde branche of the Institute of Plant Protection Research (former Deutsches Entomologisches Institut).
